Learn how to manage your billing and subscriptions for SimpleTranslate services. We offer separate billing for AI Components and Metadata Translator services.

What is the Billing Feature?

SimpleTranslate offers two separate billing systems for different services. You can subscribe to one or both depending on your needs:

  • SimpleT AI Components - AI Optimizers for enhanced performance and capabilities
  • SimpleTranslate Metadata Translator - Advanced metadata translation service

Each service has its own subscription plans and pricing. You can manage both subscriptions independently through your billing portal.

How to Subscribe to a Plan

Step 1: Access the Billing Section

  1. Log into your SimpleTranslate account
  2. Go to your company settings
  3. Look for the "Billing" section

Step 2: Choose Your Service and Plan

You'll see two separate services:

  • SimpleT AI Components (AI Optimizers for enhanced performance)
  • SimpleTranslate Metadata Translator (Advanced metadata processing)
Note: You can subscribe to one or both services based on your needs.

For each service, select your preferred plan and click "Subscribe"

Step 3: Complete Payment

  1. You'll be redirected to a secure checkout page
  2. Enter your payment information (credit card, billing address)
  3. Review your subscription details
  4. Click "Complete Payment"

Step 4: Confirmation

  • You'll receive a confirmation email
  • Your account will be upgraded immediately
  • You can start using your new features right away

How to Manage Your Subscription

Accessing Your Billing Portal

  1. Go to your company settings
  2. Find the "Billing" section
  3. Click "Open Billing Portal"

You'll be taken to a secure portal where you can:

  • View your current plans for both services
  • Change your payment method
  • Download invoices
  • Update billing information
  • Cancel or modify your subscriptions for each service

Changing Your Plan

  1. In the billing portal, click "Change Plan"
  2. Select your new plan
  3. Confirm the changes
  4. Your plan will update immediately
  5. You'll be charged or credited the difference

Updating Payment Information

  1. Go to your billing portal
  2. Click "Payment Methods"
  3. Add a new card or update existing information
  4. Set your preferred payment method as default

Common Questions and Answers

Q: When will I be charged?

A: You'll be charged immediately when you subscribe, then automatically on the same date each month. For example, if you subscribe on the 15th, you'll be charged on the 15th of each month.

Q: Can I cancel anytime?

A: Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. You'll continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period, then your account will automatically switch to the free plan.

Q: What happens if I upgrade or downgrade mid-month?

A: You'll be charged or credited the prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. For example, if you upgrade halfway through the month, you'll only pay half the difference between plans.

Q: What if my payment fails?

A: We'll automatically retry the payment a few times. If it continues to fail, we'll send you email notifications to update your payment method. Your service won't be interrupted immediately, but you'll need to resolve the payment issue to continue using paid features.

Q: Can I subscribe to both services?

A: Yes! You can subscribe to SimpleT AI Components and SimpleTranslate Metadata Translator separately. Each service has its own subscription and billing cycle, so you can choose different plans for each service based on your needs.

Q: What's the difference between the two SimpleT AI Components Professional plans?

A: The €10/month plan gives you access to AI features but requires you to provide your own LLM. The €20/month plan includes built-in AI, so everything is ready to use immediately. We recommend the €20/month plan for most users as it's more convenient and fully integrated.

Q: Why is the Metadata Translator more expensive?

A: The Metadata Translator is designed for high-volume, enterprise-grade metadata processing. The €500/month plan includes advanced features and higher processing limits suitable for large-scale operations.

Q: Is my payment information secure?

A: Yes! We use Stripe to process all payments. Stripe is a PCI-compliant payment processor trusted by companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. We never store your credit card information on our servers.
